Welcome to the Naruto board.
Ground rules:
1. We cover the original Naruto series (2002–2007, 220 episodes) and its direct arc structure. Shippuden discussion is welcome in context but this is not a Shippuden-primary board.
2. Filler episode discussion is allowed but please tag your threads [FILLER] so people can find or avoid accordingly. The Land of Tea arc is not canon. Neither is the curry of life. We know.
3. Fansub vs dub is a legitimate discussion. The original Viz dub replaced "Believe it" for "Dattebayo" and this is worth knowing. We do not fight about it, we document it.
4. Power level debates are allowed and encouraged. Cite your episodes.
Resources:
The AnimeHistory Naruto archive page covers the full production history — Studio Pierrot, TV Tokyo, the original manga run by Masashi Kishimoto in Weekly Shonen Jump. Check it before asking questions that are answered there.
The fansub era of Naruto is genuinely important history. ANBU, Inuhanyou, Dattebayo — these groups kept the series alive in the West for years before any official English release existed. That history deserves documentation and that is what we are here for.
Welcome to the village.
