FLCL: The Anime That Cannot Be Explained
You cannot explain FLCL.You can try. You can talk about growing up, about things happening too fast, about Canti and Mamimi and the robot that comes out of a kids head when a woman hits him with a bass guitar.
But explaining it misses the point.
FLCL has to be experienced at the right age, at the right time, when you are just confused enough about the world to let it wash over you.
Some of us were lucky enough to experience it that way.
