Action Horror Dark Fantasy Mystery
Details & Synopsis
Saya Otonashi is a seemingly ordinary high school girl living in Okinawa with her adoptive family — anemic, amnesiac, and completely unaware of her past. That changes the night a monster attacks her and a mysterious cellist named Hagi hands her a sword. A sword she knows exactly how to use.

Produced by Production I.G and inspired by the 2000 film Blood: The Last Vampire, Blood+ ran for 50 episodes across a full year of weekly broadcasts. Saya travels the world — Okinawa, Vietnam, Russia, Paris, New York — hunting chiropterans, creatures who feed on human blood, while slowly piecing together a past that is far darker than she could have imagined.

Do not confuse it with Blood-C. Blood+ is the slow burn — the globe-trotting conspiracy thriller with genuine emotional weight. Hans Zimmer contributed to the soundtrack. Adult Swim aired it in 2007. It deserves every minute of your attention.
