Remember when you could find a website dedicated entirely to a single anime character? Not a wiki page. Not a subreddit. An actual website, built by one obsessed fan, with custom graphics, a shrine, a fanfiction section, and a guestbook.Those sites are gone now. Replaced by algorithm-curated content and corporate streaming platforms that treat anime like a commodity rather than a culture.
This is what we lost. This is why AnimeHistory.org exists.
