One of the most reliable and respected mid-2000s fansub groups, famous for bridging the gap between early IRC distribution and modern BitTorrent indexing. Also, on record, willing to keep distributing titles well past their US license: in December 2005, Funimation directly named Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball, Trinity Blood, Speed Grapher, Solty Rei, Detective Conan, and Tsubasa in an IP enforcement letter to the group, and Joker.com subsequently froze Shinsen-Subs' domain as a result.
