Chrono carries an agonizing guilt for his past atrocities, and his absolute dedication to protecting Rosette, even though it actively shortens her life, is the tragic, beautiful core of the series.

The Breakdown
Chrono unleashed his true Sinner form, engaging Aion in a brutal high-altitude duel over the city. Slicing off Aion's wings, Chrono destroyed his vessel. With her lifespan completely exhausted by the seal, Rosette spent her final quiet moments cradled in Chrono's arms as the sun set.

The Breakdown
Rosette wielded dual Colt pistols loaded with Sacred Gospel rounds to clear minor fiends. When the prime demon threatened civilians, Rosette unsealed the pocket watch, allowing Chrono to manifest his energy blades and sever the demon's core.

The Breakdown
Rosette breached the suite using Gospel flashbangs. Opening the pocket watch seal, Chrono manifested his true form to shatter Lerajie's Astral barrier, allowing Azmaria's healing song to restore the wounded agents.

Aion deployed a brainwashed Joshua to freeze time across San Francisco, using Chrono's original horns to create an impenetrable barrier.
The Breakdown
Chrono unsealed his full power to breach the time dome. Confronting Joshua atop the cathedral, Chrono refused to kill Rosette's brother, taking severe internal damage while Rosette reached Joshua to break Aion's psychological control.
