The wise, ancient Namekian who served as the original Guardian of Earth. Centuries ago, he purged the evil from his soul to claim his divine throne, inadvertently creating the Demon King Piccolo in the process. Because his life force is directly tied to Piccolo's, if one dies, the other does too. As the creator of Earth's original Dragon Balls, Kami is the spiritual foundation of the entire franchise's mythology.
