Kuzu-ryūsen (Nine-Headed Dragon Strike)
Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū · Nine Sword Directions at OnceKuzu-ryūsen attacks the nine basic directions of Japanese sword combat in what appears to the opponent as one simultaneous rush. A normal defense can answer one line of attack; Kuzu-ryūsen overwhelms that logic by presenting all nine before the opponent can choose.
Why it matters
Hiko uses the technique as the wall Kenshin must cross while learning the succession art. It represents Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū at its most mechanically complete, which is exactly why the final technique cannot simply be "Kuzu-ryūsen, but harder."
