His destructive rampage through the city of Inepril forces Vash into one of the most desperate, bloody, and emotionally taxing battles of his life, testing the limits of his pacifist vow.

THE BREAKDOWN: this fight sets the pattern every later encounter follows, Vash isn't fighting to win so much as fighting to keep the body count at zero, which is a much harder problem than just outgunning someone.
