About Me
🐉🔥🐉🔥
Old-school webmaster. Old man. Internet fossil.
Nostalgic about anime, the old internet, karaoke, fansites, forums, weird little communities, and the days when people built websites because they wanted to build websites.
Then somebody figured out the attention economy.
Everything became feeds, engagement, clicks, retention, algorithms and metrics.
We gained a lot. I still think we lost something.
AnimeHistory.org is my attempt to build a little piece of it again.

Gallery milestone! We’ve finished the screencap archive: 866,217 captures across 50+ anime. 🎉 We also added a new sticker system for posts/comments. Hopefully it makes things a little more fun around here. 😊
Archive update! Lore added today for Serial Experiments Lain and Outlaw Star. We also updated the Anime page and published our Cowboy Bebop Episode 5 review 9/10.
@Pain thanks for the follow! 😊 ❤️
Away this week, but AnimeHistory still gets an update 😛 New review is live for Naruto Shippuden Episode 82: Team Ten. Wrote this one ahead of time because this episode deserved a proper look 😄
Mini vacation in the Lower Mainland and already going through AnimeHistory development withdrawals. 😆
No proper development setup with me, so naturally I'm spending the trip planning the next couple days of archive work instead. 😛
