Knight Sabers vs. Frederick at Aqua City
Episode 1 (Tinsel City) · Aqua City Ruins · First GENOM Conspiracy
The Knight Sabers take a U.S.S.D. job to recover a kidnapped technician and his little sister,
Cynthia. The rescue leads them into the ruins of Aqua City and a confrontation with Frederick, an advanced Boomer tied to the operation.
The Breakdown
The fight matters less as a clean demonstration of team weapon specs than as the moment an ordinary paid rescue job opens onto something much larger. By the time Aqua City is destroyed, the Knight Sabers have seen the outline of GENOM behind the people and machines they were hired to recover.
Debut: Ep 001 - Tinsel City
Knight Sabers vs. Mason's Super Boomer Project
SPOILER!
Episode 2 (Born to Kill) · Kawasaki Industrial Complex · Irene's Evidence
The death of Irene's fiancé and then Irene herself pushes the Knight Sabers into Mason's
Super Boomer project. GENOM is rebuilding advanced technology from
Cynthia's recovered remains and surrounding the project with female assassin Boomers.
The Breakdown
This is where Linna stops being background support and the team begins treating GENOM as a conspiracy rather than a company whose products occasionally go wrong. The battle destroys the immediate project, but Irene does not live to see the evidence matter.
Sylia Stingray vs. Brian J. Mason
SPOILER!
Episode 3 (Blow Up) · GENOM Tower · The First Conspiracy Ends
After Mason escalates his campaign in MegaTokyo and the destruction of Priss's neighborhood kills Sho's mother, the Knight Sabers assault
GENOM Tower. Mason meets them in powered armor.
The Breakdown
Priss arrives furious enough to make the confrontation personal, but the final meeting belongs to Sylia and Mason. Mason is tied directly to her father's stolen Boomer technology and the conspiracy that has driven the first three OVAs. Their confrontation ends with Mason dead, but GENOM itself remains untouched.
Debut: Ep 003 - Blow Up
Knight Sabers vs. Largo
SPOILER!
Episode 6 (Red Eyes) · GENOM Tower · OMS and the Orbital Lasers
Largo uses Anri, imitation Knight Sabers and kidnapped Defense Minister Callahan to force his way into
GENOM Tower and demand the O.M.S. from Quincy. His real leverage is much larger: he can command orbital laser satellites directly.
The Breakdown
The Sabers are fighting an opponent who can destroy them without standing in the same room. Priss reaches Largo through Anri, survives his assault and ultimately receives the upgraded hardsuit she needs to keep fighting. Largo's defeat closes the OVA's strongest continuing thread from the Mason era without ending GENOM.
Debut: Ep 006 - Red Eyes
Priss, Anri & Largo
SPOILER!
Episode 6 (Red Eyes) · Sylvie's Death Comes Back Into the Room
Priss follows Anri and Largo because she is trying to save the one person left from
Sylvie's escape. Largo destroys that hope by telling Anri that Priss is the Knight Saber who killed Sylvie.
The Breakdown
Anri attacks and wounds Priss before Priss explains why Sylvie had to die. When Largo turns on Priss, Anri chooses to protect her and is killed taking the attack meant for Priss. It is not a victory for either woman. It is the moment Priss's guilt stops being something Largo can use to define what
Sylvie's death meant.
Debut: Ep 006 - Red Eyes
Priss vs. the Griffon
Episode 4 (Revenge Road) · MegaTokyo Highways · Rescue Before the Police Trap
J.B. Gibson turns the Griffon into a thought-controlled revenge machine to hunt the biker gang that destroyed Naomi's life. The more he modifies the car, the more his hatred becomes part of the machine itself.
The Breakdown
Priss cannot simply destroy the Griffon because Gibson and Naomi are still inside it. With the AD Police preparing a lethal roadblock, she uses Mackie's
Highway Star to catch a vehicle specifically built to outrun pursuit and get its occupants out before revenge finishes consuming them too.
Knight Sabers vs. the D.D. Battlemover
SPOILER!
Episode 5 (Moonlight Rambler) · Runaway Superweapon · Nuclear Fail-Safe
Sylvie activates the stolen D.D. Battlemover while trying to survive GENOM's pursuit and save Anri. When she loses consciousness, the J-1 control system takes over and the machine becomes a disaster waiting to happen: if its power runs out, its fail-safe will trigger a micro-nuclear explosion.
The Breakdown
Leon's
K-12 armor cannot stop it. The Knight Sabers arrive because the D.D. has to be shut down before the city pays for somebody else's weapons project. For Priss, the tactical solution becomes unbearable because Sylvie is inside the machine.
Debut: Ep 005 - Moonlight Rambler
Knight Sabers vs. the Impostor Knight Sabers
SPOILER!
Episode 6 (Red Eyes) · Tinsel City Bank · Largo Weaponizes Their Reputation
Largo deploys imitation Knight Sabers to raid GENOM facilities and make the real team look like criminals. The impostors then challenge the originals to appear at Tinsel City Bank.
The Breakdown
The fight is partly physical and partly reputational. The AD Police have to decide whether the women they have been chasing are suddenly responsible for a new crime spree, while the real Sabers have to expose the fake team without revealing themselves. It is one of the rare battles where simply winning the firefight is not enough.
Debut: Ep 006 - Red Eyes
Vision, the Knight Sabers & the GD-42
SPOILER!
Episode 7 (Double Vision) · Revenge Against GENOM
Reika Chang returns to MegaTokyo as the singer Vision while secretly pursuing the people she blames for the deaths in her family, including Irene. Her side brings the GD-42 into a private war with GENOM and Gulf & Bradley.
The Breakdown
The Knight Sabers are not trying to defeat Reika as another villain. Linna is trying to stop Irene's sister from letting the same corporation determine the rest of her life through revenge. The hardware matters, but the real victory is getting Reika back to her own future instead of another grave.
Knight Sabers vs. Miriam's AD Police HQ Trap
SPOILER!
Episode 8 (Scoop Chase) · AD Police Headquarters · Nene Inside the Building
Dr. Miriam Yoshida uses specialized Boomers and the AD Police computer system to turn headquarters itself into a trap. Nene and Lisa are caught inside while the rest of the Knight Sabers have to break into a building designed to kill them.
The Breakdown
The final OVA does not escalate by bringing Largo back or putting the city under an orbital superweapon. It turns Nene's ordinary workplace into the battlefield and makes her double life the vulnerability. The team wins by combining exactly the things the series has spent eight episodes building: hardsuits outside, Nene's systems knowledge inside and people willing to trust one another across the line between vigilante and police.
