MIZUKI INABA

Mizuki Inaba is a Jindai student whose romantic problems pull Sosuke into one of the stranger civilian missions of his new school life. After her relationship with Shirai falls apart, Mizuki recruits Sosuke to pose as her boyfriend in front of her friends. Sosuke treats the assignment with exactly the kind of literal seriousness everyone should have expected, turning an awkward teenage situation into something much more complicated. Mizuki is impulsive, insecure and capable of making a bad situation worse, but her story gives the series a perfect chance to show how completely unprepared Sosuke is for ordinary dating and social expectations.
