The Class 3-4 Teacher Pact and the Anime's Final Secret

Saitou · Miyuki Yokoyama · The Betrayal Behind the Revolt
Class 3-4's war on teachers is not random delinquency. In the anime, the break traces back to former teacher Noboru Saitou and Miyabi's friend Miyuki Yokoyama. Saitou had an improper relationship with Miyuki. When it was exposed, pressure from the education establishment pushed him to deny it, and Miyuki later died by suicide.
Why it matters
Miyabi watched the adults close ranks around the institution instead of the student. The class turned that betrayal into a campaign against every homeroom teacher who came after Saitou. Episodes 42 and 43 finally reveal the wound that Onizuka has been fighting since he entered Class 3-4.
Uchiyamada, Sakurai & Azusa Fuyutsuki

Vice Principal Hiroshi Uchiyamada (who cares more about his white Toyota Cresta than students) constantly seeks to fire Onizuka. Board Chairwoman Ryoko Sakurai hired Onizuka knowing only an un-conventional outsider could heal Class 3-4. Azusa Fuyutsuki acts as Onizuka's earnest rookie teacher ally.
Miyabi Aizawa and the Resistance Core

Miyabi is the student who keeps Class 3-4's anti-teacher campaign alive after other students begin softening toward Onizuka. Kikuchi supplies the technical warfare, Murai is the loud frontline holdout, and Tomoko begins as Miyabi's closest childhood friend before the failed framing plot breaks them apart.
Urumi Kanzaki is not part of this command structure. Miyabi brings her back in Episode 16 hoping the genius will destroy Onizuka, but Urumi becomes her own force and eventually one of Onizuka's strongest allies.
Noboru Yoshikawa, Anko Uehara and the Bullying Crisis

Noboru Yoshikawa is the clearest victim of Class 3-4's cruelty, with Anko Uehara and her friends turning humiliation and physical abuse into routine entertainment. His first suicide attempt in Episode 3 forces Onizuka to understand that the class war is not only aimed at teachers.
Episodes 5 and 6 expose the larger problem. Anko's mother's PTA power gives the bullies institutional cover until Yoshikawa, Kikuchi and Onizuka force the adults to see what has been happening in front of them.
Yoshito Kikuchi (IQ 180 Computer Genius)

Kikuchi is Class 3-4's computer specialist and one of its smartest students, with an IQ around 180. He initially uses digital composite images to manufacture scandalous photographs of Onizuka and tries to destroy his teaching career without ever throwing a punch.
Onizuka's refusal to react the way every previous teacher did breaks the strategy. Kikuchi becomes one of the first major students to switch sides and later uses the same technical ability to help Onizuka instead.
Tomoko Nomura ("Tomo-moco")

A sweet, clumsy student with low self-esteem who was constantly belittled by Miyabi. Onizuka recognized her natural beauty and gentle warmth, entering her into a national idol competition to build her self-confidence and launch her career.
Nanako Mizuki (The First Breakthrough)

The very first student Onizuka encounters. Rich but emotionally neglected by parents who treat her like an inconvenience, Nanako tried to frame Onizuka to get him fired. After Onizuka sledgehammered her room wall to force her parents to talk, she became his first loyal supporter.
Suguru Teshigawara and the Exam Plot

Teshigawara's polished credentials hide a vindictive streak and an obsessive fixation on Azusa Fuyutsuki. After Onizuka repeatedly ruins his attempts to get close to her, Teshigawara uses PTA leader Mrs. Ota and her spoiled daughter Hidemi to turn Onizuka's weak academic credentials into a dismissal campaign.
The result is the national scholastic test challenge that drives Episodes 13 through 15. This is the anime's major Teshigawara conflict. The later Fuyutsuki kidnapping and school-hostage material belongs to the manga and is not part of the 43-episode TV series.
