Parn vs. Ashram
SPOILER!
Open →
Parn sees Ashram on the battlefield and charges the Black Knight with all the confidence of somebody who has spent the journey trying to grow into the armor he wears. Ashram is still the superior swordsman. The duel matters less because Parn nearly wins than because he is finally facing the man who has represented Marmo's military power since Myce.
The Breakdown
Ashram controls the exchange. Parn's aggression keeps him in the fight, but experience, reach and composure favor the Black Knight. The battle around them interrupts any clean finish, leaving the rivalry unresolved and giving Parn a standard he has not yet reached.

The Battle Against Shooting Star
SPOILER!
Open →
The fight with
Shooting Star forces enemies and allies into the same collapsing space. Ashram wants the Scepter. Kashue wants the dragon dead. Parn wants to stop both a disaster in Flaim and Marmo's search for greater power. Pirotess and Deedlit are still watching each other even while everyone is trying not to burn alive.
Orson lands the first lance. Deedlit's magic helps create the opening for the remaining strikes. Kashue and Parn finish the job while the mountain breaks apart around them.
The Breakdown
Nobody solos the dragon. The victory is logistics, courage, magic and timing stacked together. It is one of the best examples in the OVA of a legendary monster actually requiring a party.
Debut: Ep 010 - The Demon Dragon of Fire Dragon Mountain
