Shoryu returns from China with techniques Mugen cannot solve through instinct alone. For once, Mugen has to train specifically for an opponent rather than trust that unpredictability will carry him.
What changed
The fight makes Mugen's style feel alive rather than magically unbeatable. His strength is adaptation, which means sometimes admitting another fighting language knows something he does not.
