Ino develops from the competitive kunoichi of Part I into a valuable sensory ninja, medic and communications specialist. The Yamanaka clan's Mind Body Switch remains her signature technique, allowing her to take control of a target at enormous personal risk, but her later abilities reach far beyond one opponent. During the Fourth Shinobi World War she helps relay information between scattered forces and uses her clan techniques under battlefield conditions that would overwhelm most shinobi. Ino's friendship with Sakura also settles into something healthier than their childhood rivalry, while Team 10 remains the relationship that defines her most strongly. She can argue with Shikamaru and Choji all day, then trust them without hesitation the moment a real fight begins.

First Division Commander Darui engaged the reanimated Kinkaku and Ginkaku brothers, who wielded the Treasured Tools of the Sage of Six Paths and Kurama chakra.
The Breakdown
After Ginkaku was sucked into the Benihisago gourd, Kinkaku entered a Six-Tailed Version 2 rampage. Darui coordinated with the Ino-Shika-Chō trio to trick Kinkaku into responding, sealing him away inside the Kohaku Jōhei pot.

Team 10 was forced to fight their reanimated sensei Asuma. Overcome by grief, Choji initially hesitated to strike his mentor, nearly costing his squad their lives.
The Breakdown
Choji unlocked Butterfly Chakra Mode without taking the ancestral Red Pepper Pill, manifesting massive chakra wings. He delivered a colossal Gekiken punch to pin Asuma against a cliff face, allowing the sealing team to secure Asuma.
