KANKURO
KA
Kankuro has grown from Gaara's wary older brother into one of the Hidden Sand's most dependable puppet masters and officers. When Deidara carries Gaara away, Kankuro pursues immediately and runs into Sasori, the very man whose work shaped much of the Sand's puppet tradition. Sasori's poison nearly kills him before Sakura creates an antidote. That encounter becomes an unexpected inheritance. Kankuro later adds Sasori's abandoned puppet body to his own arsenal and uses it during the Fourth Shinobi World War, eventually commanding the Allied Forces' commando unit. He is less flashy than Gaara and less politically visible than Temari, but his loyalty to his siblings is immediate and practical. If Gaara is threatened, Kankuro is already moving.

Kankurō pursued the Akatsuki abduction squad across the desert, unleashing his Crow, Black Ant, and Salamander puppets to ambush Sasori.
The Breakdown
Sasori easily countered every strike, revealing he was the original creator of all three puppets. Sasori disarmed Kankurō in seconds and poisoned him with a lethal, slow-acting neurotoxin, leaving him to die in the sand.
