CHROLLO LUCILFER SPOILER!

The brilliant, deeply charismatic, and chillingly nihilistic founder and leader of the Phantom Troupe (The Spider). Hailing from the lawless, forgotten wasteland of Meteor City, Chrollo is an intellectual sociopath who views human life—including his own—as completely disposable, yet harbors an unshakeable, fiercely protective love for his twelve core members. Using his Nen ability, "Skill Hunter," contained within a conjured trench-coat book, he can permanently steal the unique supernatural powers of other warriors, and his arrival in Yorknew City sets the entire back half of the 1999 series in motion.
