ITACHI UCHIHA
IU
The legendary rogue shinobi who vanished into the criminal underworld after single handedly massacring his entire clan in a solitary night, leaving his younger brother alive purely to cultivate a legacy of hatred. When he returns to breach the village gates alongside the Akatsuki syndicate, he brings an unparalleled aura of absolute psychological terror. Moving with chilling, quiet precision, his mastery over the Mangekyo Sharingan allows him to disintegrate a veteran master's sanity in a fraction of a second. He stands as an insurmountable wall of absolute genius, a ghost from the past whose red eyes mock Sasuke's desperate training and remind the Hidden Leaf that their inner sanctuary is profoundly vulnerable.

Kakashi arrives, but Itachi activates Tsukuyomi—subjecting Kakashi to 72 hours of agonizing sword stabs in one second of real time. Might Guy arrives, instructing everyone to fight Kisame/Itachi by tracking foot movements rather than looking into their eyes.
The Breakdown
The terrifying introduction of the Akatsuki. It establishes the god-tier ceiling of the Mangekyō Sharingan and Samehada, leaving Kakashi hospitalized and putting the village on high alert.
Sasuke Uchiha vs. Itachi Uchiha (Hotel Corridor)
Open →Search for Tsunade Arc · Frontier Inn Hallway · Result: Absolute Itachi Victory
Hearing that Itachi has returned to hunt Naruto, Sasuke sprints to the inn, charging a Chidori down the narrow hallway. Itachi casually catches Sasuke's wrist, breaking his arm, and brutally beats him against the wall. When Naruto tries to intervene, Itachi places Sasuke under Tsukuyomi, forcing him to re-experience the slaughter of their parents until Jiraiya summons the Toad Mouth Bind to force the Akatsuki to retreat via Amaterasu.
The Breakdown
The psychological shattering of Sasuke. Itachi's words—"You lack hatred"—completely reset Sasuke's character arc, convincing him that Leaf training is far too slow and driving him straight into Orochimaru's arms.
